I cleaned up the tires on a bike with paint on the tires with automotive brake fluid. It is safe for rubber and did a good job with some elbow grease

Reminds me of fixing fuel issues in airless spaces on sailboats, usually in a seaway, viz, nausea.

Engine fuel is the answer to exactly no cleaning problems.

it's safe if you use a low quantity it's not as flammable as gas

From what I know diesel is bad for rubberized stuff, best not to
