How do I switch the hook inserts on Ortlieb QL1 (to fit a smaller diameter rack)?

I put the hook mounting inserts on my Ortlieb bag to fit the hooks onto an 11mm diameter rack. They're too loose for my new rack, and I can't see how to take out the 11mm insert and put the 8mm inserts in.

I tried to push it out by sticking a flathead through the back opening (that opens up when you pull the handle) and pushing, but it didn't budge.

Maybe it's obvious, but I'm not seeing a way to do this without possibly breaking the hook. I know I can get another hook for about $12 from cyclocamping, but I hope I don't have to!

You should be able to just pop them out with a small screwdriver. No real trick.

Thanks. I just had to push harder. It felt like the plastic was going to snap but it was more flexible than I thought.
