Fenders on 1983 trek 620

Can anyone post a picture of their tire clearance so I know if this bike can fit fenders.
I just bought one on ebay because one miraculously showed up in my size.
I have been looking all over the web and saw one picture of the '83 620 with fenders but it didn't say if they were 27" or 700c.
I plan to run 27" wheels but if the only way to run fenders is with 700c then I will make the change.

Thanks!

'tis going to depend heavily on your selection of tires and the brakes you're running. M'haps a few photos of your tire/brake/frame/fork and some knowledgable heads 'round here can weigh in.... (not me, I'm more of a trial and error guy, though I've installed some fenders).. I have a 1985 Trek 420 and the fender clearance with 700c wheels and Ultegra brakes is not particularly good, though I managed to mount a set of bamboo fenders on the bike.
