I've bought from all of those places at one time or another. They are reputable. If you refuse to open your options then no wonder you can't find stuff.
This whole thing about "can't find bike parts" is overated. You just have to be willing to look at other places.
I just recently put some new parts on my mountain bike...Dropper post, dropper post lever, 2 new SRAM rotors, new seat, new cables, new SRAM X01 Shifter...ordered all parts from Amazon and had them within a week.

No need to be snarky. To dispute there are supply problems is silly, talk to anyone who is in the industry or around it and it is very challenging to source many parts. I know you can google for a part and the results seem endless however it is not so. However this worn out routine of somebody listing a Google search as proof there aren’t supply issues is just getting old.

Merlin lists them as in stock at 2 for $86.68 USD for 25mm but the 28 are out of stock. I am aware that the GP5000 seems to be a lot of people's favourite tire, but there are other fish in the sea. I have Schwalbe Pro One on one bike and while I have found them a bit fragile, they are a good tire and they seem to be priced a bit lower at $35.57USD.

Backcountry/Competitive Cyclist (same store as mstateglfr pointed out) is not reputable? Perhaps the biggest retailer in the US. Bike Closet is also well known and legit.

Michelin pro 4 endurance don't measure under size and wear better than most. $42. If they made a tubeless version that's what I would buy.

Looks like Lordgun has added FedEx and UPS as more economical shipping options, too - I'm getting ~$17 for shipping instead of the ~$30 that was typical with DHL (the DHL shipping is blazing fast, though).

Lordgun is the bomb. I have ordered several sizes of the Pirelli's from them and get them in 3 to 4 days from Italy to Florida.

Yup. If you can overcome the shipping cost by buying in sufficient quantity, they're frequently the best price around. I've gotten most of my recent tires through them: Pro One Addix TLE, Power Road TLRs, P-Zero Race TLR.

I found that even with the shipping cost, the Pirelli's were still cheaper to get through them than in the states, get them faster too, which is just sad when you think about it.

Now, $95 for a bike tire is something to complain about. My car tires cost appreciably less than that.

I visited my LBS on Thursday and they had a pile of GP5000, GP5000TL's and even the latest wiz bang zoom GP5000s TR's in stock. All sizes.

I bought 'em. The shop mounted them for me, so not sure how that went. The weird part about these tires is that there does not appear to be any size indication on them. These are 28mm. I don't have a caliper to measure, but they look to be roughly the same size as the 32mm GP5000 TL's I have installed on a narrower wheelset:

Also, have you tried deflating these to see if they stay seated?

I just picked them up from the shop this morning and haven't rode them yet. I'll try to get out tomorrow for a shakedown ride. No idea on if these tires stay bead locked on deflation, but I'll try that soon and let you know.

The hooked max is 94psi, hookless max is 73psi, which also matches Zipp's max pressure on the wheel.
FWIW - the Zipp tire pressure calculator spits out 56.6psi front and 60.3psi rear for me, based on this tire/wheel combo. I was previously running hooked 32mm TL's at around 60psi on narrower rims, so I'm assuming these will feel pretty similar at those pressures.
