Peugeot 531 frame weighs only 1630g?
There was a 54cm Peugeot PS10 frame on Ebay with 531 tubing frame. Looks like it weighs 1630g - with the steel(?) BB cups still on the frame. How did Peugeot manage to make this frame so light? This is as light as a 753 frame.

I weighed my full 531 frame and fork when it came back from a powder coater. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I wrote down the info, but my memory is that it was about 5.5 lbs.

Gitane TDF, 48cm, full 531 DB, 2005g bare frame, 720g fork
Motobecane Grand Record, 56.5cm, 531 DB triangle & forks, 2095g bare frame, 770g fork
I doubt any 531 frame (of normal size) ever weighed 1630. The fork weight is about right.
A 531SL tubeset had a quoted weight of 3.75 lbs, that's 1700g, more-or-less; add braze, bridges, dropouts, lugs...
A set of steel cups is only about 100g, so you could have a heavy-ish big 531 frame and get up to that weight.

There are a number of 531 tubing iterations.
Scroll down to the bottom of this page: https://raleigh-sb4059.com/2018/09/30/frame-weights-of-specialist-bicycle-development-unit-sbdu-reynolds-753-and-531-frames/
Author details the frame weights of over 30 Raleigh SBDU bikes - many built w/ Reynolds 531.
~1650-~1700 is about right for a 54cm frame built w/ Reynolds 531SL. Note, however, a 531C or 531P frame would not be much heavier, maybe only 100 - 50grams respectively. Obviously, there is alot more to frame weight than the tubing alone.

F&F weigh what they should - not super light.

2343g likely = frame only (no fork) but possibly not a full 531 frame. I have 2 full 531 frames, both 59CM C-T and one weighs 2130 and the other 2030. 200+/- grams is not a lot, so it could be full Reynolds as well, depending on treatment and year.

the Reynolds transfer is pretty beat, quite possibly a three main tubes 531, plus the fork.
2300+ for the frame would align pretty well.

The PS/PSN 10 is a "3 tubes renforcées" bike. The decal remnants confirm that.
