Marinoni Fango?
Hi Guys,
Anybody have any experience with the Marinoni Fango?
I am seeking a bicycle for cyclocross events, and off-road riding including winter riding.
How does it ride? How does it compare to an aluminium CX bike?
Thanks,
Brian

That would be a beautiful bike. It would be more resilient then most aluminum frames.

User @beechnutC23 has a son who owns a Marinoni dealership in Montreal.
Maybe he will see this post and offer some advice or you could contact the shop to ask questions.

I'm sure my son could spec one out for you and get you a price on it.
You've piqued my interest. I do a lot of gravel roads but I use a mountain bike for that, which is sort of overkill. I'd like a good gravel bike. I have an aluminium cyclocross bike that I bought on sale for $800 from a local sports chain (Mountain Equipment Coop) but I hate it. Too heavy and the brakes are too poor for many fast downhills on the local gravel roads. I've loaned it out to my university student son as a commuter bike.
When my budget finally recovers from the carbon Marinoni Genius/Campy Record my son built for me last year, I may look into this. I'm a big Marinoni fan, both my road bikes are Marinonis (apart from the Cervelo I have for sale and haven't ridden in over a year), one a 1993 steel Leggero Special/Campy Record, and the Genius.
