Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Mrs datlas fixed the painting to make the cat less generic and look more like Jackie. I think she did a good job.

I'm sure an unspecified individual will find something "wrong" to point out.

I already had a lazy eye and now something else has gone haywire. I can manage. I finally figured out something was wrong over the weekend when I was trying to see if my hair was sticking up on one side and I couldn't focus. It had been bothering me for a bit before I put 2 & 2 together.

First of all, cutting a late September ride short because you only have four bottles of hydration.

Second talking about taking the day off, then immediately saying you weren't going to need it anyway.

The Mariners are off today but if the Red Sox lose today they are tied for the second wild card. #PlayoffRace

I'm hoping for a Mariners vs Blue Jays wildcard game.

Free baseball.

It's going to be a dog fight for the wildcard.

The car reached three years and went off warrantee a couple months ago. I had the oil changed once, locally, and when I bought it for the second change, I realized that the cost of the oil and filter equals the cost of the full service at the dealership. Including detailing the car inside and out and under the hood.
I have an appointment in the morning. The way (amount) my wife drives, we will likely have it changed monthly. Or nearly so.

I hope the transplants take. Not sure what the front one is - less spikey and less blue than the American agave.
