It's a buyer's market. Plenty of other great bikes out there.

I live close to Trek and our bike market is relatively rich with the bikes employees purchased at great discounts. Every once in a while, an old Madone pops up for some price like this one, and I make every effort to buy it.
In Pennsylvania, I wonder if you've got a lot of Cannondales floating around at basement prices.

sedgemop, it is a buyers' market - I'm trying to get rid of something just a tad better than a beach cruiser and, on a popular site, I got 5 views (3 of them are mine)
ljsense, of course - opportunity knocks - I am fine both with or without the "+1" element - I still like the bikes I have

I got a Specialized with nice A1 comp alloy frame really nice carbon fork decent wheel set with OK nicely working 8x3 speed group shifters and brakes out of dumpster earlier this year to compare pretty much entry level race worthy. So there is a lot of stuff out there if you look.

zukahn1, I may have to respond later to your message above - for now I am, more or less, speech-less
