Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Taking off from the stoplight, putting your foot on the pedal and hearing "click".

Getting in 2 solid hours of intense cardio and not feeling like someone hit me in the knees with a baseball bat.
The swole-up feeling in my thighs for the rest of the day after a hard ride.
Knowing that I earned that piece of apple pie, pizza, beer...whatever.
Being able to travel 20 miles under my own power during my lunch break.
Having a hobby that keeps me active, fit, and is actually fun.

Bike-wise?

Reaching a peak in a ride at maximum exhaustion,
then saying f-it and pushing through for that 2nd wind.

And this.

So true. This is the first year I ever watched cycling on TV. Recorded every stage of the TdF and TofCali. Something about it was very relaxing. And it's not like there is much action and suspense till the end, so you don't feel like you're missing anything if you take a little nap in the middle.

After feeling like a puddle of urine at mile 100, charging up the last climb of a double at mile 170.

Another one: Seeing the look of anticipation on dudes' faces turn instantly to revulsion, because my cleats sound like a hot chick in high heels on the supermarket floor.

I use Flickr. First, select the size I want the image to be at from a drop down list, then I select BBCode as my desired format, copy and paste the code it gives me. Some web forums will allow you to use HTML, some use BBCode, others support both.

Here's how I do it: https://www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=902729

Doing it this way (as opposed to the direct link method that Mike F uses) also makes the image a clickable link that takes the viewer to my Flickr page with the image.

The euphoric feeling when the endorphines kick in, just moments after thinking I'm about to hit the wall.
The wonderful taste of chocolate milk and an apple after getting back home.
The wind I was cursing on the first half of a ride pushing me back home at a 4-5 mph increase in average speed.
Owning the hill that nearly kicked my ass earlier in the season.
The involuntary smile that crosses my face halfway up the aforementioned hill.
Passing a rider with calves twice as muscular as mine, because he became concerned with adjusting his saddlebag.
Being able to eat twice as much for dinner because my body needs it.
Cloudless, clear blue skies with very little wind.
Silent shifting.
Long summer days with no insects.
A drawerfull of clean jerseys and shorts.
Dry socks.

+1

I can click in every time when I'm stopped in the middle of nowhere, but when there's traffic, my failure-to-success ratio on clicking in the first time is roughly 60/40.

Not really. Every time you breathe heavy, you make more carbon dioxide.

Super hot bath after riding 2 hrs in low 20s.
Extra 1500 calories I can eat in candy
44bps resting hear rate

If you use Firefox, try the Greasemonkey extension and see if there is a script for it to give BBCode for Photobucket. Flickr used to only provide HTML, and I used a GM script to get BBCode. Then Flickr realized this was something users wanted and integrated it into the site.
