Zeus brake reach - mine are too short!
I have a set of Zeus Criterium centrepull brakes that were to go on a frame, but they don't have enough reach. I measure them as having 52mm reach, brake-bolt centre to centreline of the pads when the lower sections of the arms are held parallel. Velobase has no numbers, just describes them as "long reach". Which they aren't.
I'd like a set of Zeus centrepull brakes for this machine, does anyone have a set of
Alfa
Super Alfa
Super Alfa 71
or
2000
and a set of calipers to measure their reach, so I can know which - if any - would suit.

Thanks v much, I'll be after the longest of those three. Does your source also list the Criterium and if so what numbers does it give?

I guess they don't make drop bolts for centrepulls like the do for sidepulls? Hmm, maybe another "I wish they'd make" item.
