Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nice bike. It's odd to see a red Bianchi.

It's the BF fashion police. Pay them no heed. If it fits, you're fine.

Well, OK. I'm sure you know best. And I agree that if it feels good and you're getting good , comfortable kilometers and your hands and butt aren't going numb, don't change a thing.

But here's my thought. I flipped mine and it got even better.

First you have to have your ass on the bike in the right place. Seat height and set back are primary. You should be able to be bent over and be able to let go of the bars and slowly move from the drops to the tops and vice versa.

Watch this video. It was posted in a thread recently and I can't find the source. But it's good and makes sense. It's got me thinking I'm gonna lower my bars all the way.

The bars in the photo are level with the seat. MANY people (and I am one of them) find that to be the most comfortable. I am not a racer and don't plan to be. I can go quick and keep up with other riders but I don't need a tiny rocket set up like I am something I am not. By flipping the bars the distance to the handlebars would change. If he is comfortable then I would not suggest changing it because only extra spacers or a shorter stem would correct the distance.

Keep it the way it is.

I like the fact that he mentions the upward tilt on the saddle at the end of the video, I do that on mind and tend to get a little flack for it, but it helps me stay on the right part of the saddle and still doesn't break my balls.

I am sure it's great bike...but for me Bianchi and Celeste green are synonymous.
