I'm waiting for AAA to throw us under the bus. They raised our rate by $900 last year. I tried suggesting that the fact that our house is still standing means it benefited from defensible space, etc.

Road up Mt. Hamilton today. Burn scar was pretty bad. Really NOT digging the idea that this year is going to be worse.

A smoldering root from last August's CZU fire ignited a six acre fire in Big Basin State Park (despite 97% of it having burned last year) yesterday.
