New America reCycled episode
Hey everyone,
We're two filmmakers who've decided to give up the luxuries of cars and apartments for a year, crossing the country on recycled road bikes with a portable production studio in-tow.
We're producing short documentaries about our travels in episodes, along with photography and writing. We've just finished a new installment, which is free online at https://www.americarecycled.org/2011/...m-the-road-ii/
We'd love to hear feedback from other bike tourers about how we're presenting this journey to the world. If you have 5 or 10 minutes to spare, let us know what you think!
Thanks a lot everyone,
Noah and Tim

Very professional but I still hate the voice-over.
IMO you'd be better letting the people tell their stories and shots of road signs to give a sense of place and progression.

Voiceover
Thanks a lot for the reply, caretaker.
The voiceover is something we're still finding a place for. We get such varied responses about it, some people absolutely love it, some despise it, and then there's everything in between... is it just the presence of a voiceover in general that turns you off, or something specific in the way we've done it?
Thanks so much for your criticism!

It's not the voice quality but the prose style just grates a bit with me.
As you say it's a matter of personal taste.
