Anyone else with dyspraxia?
https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com...-be-an-athlete
I could have been a poster child for "clumsy child syndrome." I didn't walk until almost age 2, got sent to lots of special classes and evaluations by child development specialists, and couldn't balance on a bicycle until age 12. I am the polar opposite of the natural good-at-every-sport athlete my younger son is. (The family joke is that he inherits his athletic prowess from me. )
Did anyone else here discover bicycling as an alternative to the usual team sports in which clumsy children were definitely unwanted? Bicycling is the only sport I have truly loved, and I owe my current high level of cardiovascular fitness to it.
