2004 khs xc504
I just picked up this KHS XC504 for a song. EDIT: some searching leads me to believe it might be a 2003 XC 504R
Looks like it was only made in 2004? What can anyone tell me about the bike?
Looks to weigh between 32-35 lbs. A bit weighty but not overly for myself and the trails it will be used on, mostly flat.
needs some shifter tuning.The tires will probably need new tubes. The tires hold air and even came with a Presta adapter. The tubes will probably cost more than I paid for the whole bike...lol.

Took it out for a quick July 4th ride. A couple of flat dirt trails. but it is 104* outside.
I changed out the clip in pedals for flats from my parts stash. I also replaced the torn saddle with a WTB Pure.
My $25 bike is a blast.
