I have a cassette, an almost brand new Shimano Deore XT, 11-32. (Busy day today and therefore couldn't fiddle with the B screw.)

Please keep in mind that the "problem" may have nothing to do with the B screw, but rather may be simply a result of the inevitable realities of pedaling backward.
