For reference:
I took this and the Miyata 912 home above today for $350 all told. Both full functional, not mint but in good rider shape.

Cons: 912 is missing original rear derailleur, replaced with a deroe lx.
Neutral: Replacement brake lever -- aeros. Very nice though make isn't immediately obvious.
Pro: Awesome bikes for riding. Seeker's paint is 8.5+ and has original branded seat and handlebars.

Biggest Pro: Those Mavic CD4 rims? They aren't NOS, but are low miles. And they are laced to excellent condition Superbe Pros hubs!

I won't this is a pretty great bike with a awfull bad add doen't mention it is a road bike anywhere in the add what size it is done in all caps with no meaningfull descriotion of the bike other than wheels.

I found that very odd in light of the seller really knew bikes well. He knew the Superbe Pro hubs are great, knew that the brake levers on the 912 were aftermarket, basically kissed the Muddy Fox goodbye and made me promise not to ever throw out the saddle or MF-branded handlebars.

If you're interested PM me and we can potentially work something out. It is one of those that I couldn't pass up at the price. Townie build I have plan could linger for a while, and with the sharp geometry the 912 might not be the ideal candidate.

This is a great Diamond Back Mean Streak mountain bike. There are 15 speeds and it still rides fine. It may be need a slight tune up and new inter tubes but it can be riden as it is right now. I can no longer ride due to a serious medical issue. Therefore, I must sell this bike since I am downsizing. It is hard for me to sell it but I would like to find someone as passionate about it as I am.

This is a one owner bike with all original parts except the seat which is a much nicer. I may find the original seat in my stuff. The wheels are approx. 25" in diameter. The top of the bar is approx. 30 1/2 " high.

Please see the photos. Can be seen in Orange County, near the White Cross section of the county. This bike is available as long as it is listed on this site.

This bike has been garaged 95% of its life and looks great considering it is almost 30 years old. I have the original receipt on this bike. It was over $500 new back in 1985.
