Excellent video John ! I will be cleaning and lubing the bottom bracket on my 1984 Trek 770 this week. It is in pristine condition, Campy Super Record and it even has the original Trek water bottle. :-) It has been stored for a long time, the sewups are bad of course but it is all original and in beautiful condition. I have overhauled the front and rear wheel hubs and the headset, the bottom bracket is next. You have a great collection of vintage bikes !

Nice, clear, good angles on the video, and I laughed when you knocked the camera over.
One thing I started doing to make it easier to judge play is to install the DS crank arm, so I can try to wiggle it.

NGL, I flinched at 15:32 - was not expecting that!
Nicely done video, covering all the bases - particularly the reminder to grease/oil the threads of the crank removal tool; I bet very few bother to do that step.

I certainly have forgotten the washer before. Somehow got lucky and realized something was wrong before I ruined the crank.

Nice howto video.
Only "tidbit" comments for improvement is ofcourse getting a torque wrench and doing the tightening, like the lock ring, on the ground so your not stressing the bike in the bike stand, hopefully seat post and not top tube.
