1950-3 Norman 3-speed $75

I'm going to have to sell the bikes I keep at our beach house on Long Island, because we're putting the house on the market. First up is my old Norman bike, dated to the early 50's by the trigger shifter. 21" frame if I recall correctly. It has some cool features like a GH hub, dynamo lights, Dunlop saddle, and of course the very cool Norman soldier chain ring:

More photos here:

For sale locally $75, or in NYC for $100. I don't mind shipping, but that might be expensive. Let me know if you're interested and no doubt we can work something out.

Instead of NYC I could bring it to NJ (zip 08648), if that helps.

It kind of bothers me that the Norman soldiers only march backwards.

I hear you! But look at it this way: they march in their current direction, while maintaining their location, that will drive the chainring in the other direction, propelling the bike forward.

They're "putting their back in to it..."
