Flat Pedal Recommendation...

Hi,

I've been riding GR10s for years. I have big-ass feet, and even these pedals burn after a while. Also, I want to ride with bulkier footwear on my commute to work. Was thinking of trying some BMX/flat pedals with Holdfast-type straps.

Can anybody out there recommend flat pedals that are quality, durable, serviceable, and on the larger side? Money isn't really an object.

Thanks!

The Velo Orange Sabot pedals are very large and very high quality flat platform pedals that will easily accept a multitude of straps. Of course, they are also very expensive.

I love my Crankbrother's Stamp pedals. Any BMX or mountain bike pedals with pins will do the job really. Just watch your shins

Fyxation pedals and straps are popular as well.

Kona Wah Wah Large. They won't take straps, but they're so grippy you won't need them.

Second the recommendation for Sabot pedals. Also, I have a pair of the original Crank Bros. 5050 pedals and I love them. No experience with the new 5050 2, but probably just as good.

I recommend the Crankbrothers Stamp 7 (large). They're made for large feet but are still low profile, light, concave, and with durable bearings. Fantastic pedals.
