F.W. Evans frame
I've just bought this old F.W. Evans frame (I'll collect it tomorrow). I've no interest in the value as it isn't going to leave me any time soon, but I'd very much like to know more about it. I know that F.W. Evans was the original Evans of the London bike store chain. What do you think?

If you're not inquiring about the value, you can post in the C&V forum, rather than this sub-forum. When you have the bike, start a thread there, with photos.

F.W. Evans made some of the best full load touring bikes since the 20s. Your frame is such an example from the 30s, I suspect based on this picture of a 30s Evans tourist:
(look at the light mount on your fork as well as the decals, but the RD hanger is a bit mystifying...)
