Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Very nice, WW how thin the rear seat stays are. Must be light and fast

^^ Thanks folks. Just got back from it's first ride and it's very, very similar to the R3 in ride quality - probably 'cause all the bits & pieces came from my R3 . Possibly a tad smoother, but that's most likely placebo effect (although according to Cervélo the seat stays are thinner than the R3 and the seat tube is hourglass shaped, which I think would add to that already smooth ride). Took it on a couple short climbs and it's a rocket just like the R3, but I felt better because the fit is spot on now and I could get in the best position. Weight wise I didn't build it with full on WW parts, so it's still a 16lb bike. Fast is as fast as I can get it ... but I got a couple 32mph sprints out of it to make sure everything would hold together

Just build it up two days ago, and though it's not quite finished I'm totally in love.

'06 Madone, '07 RXL fork, SRAM Force, Chris King, Thomson Elite, Ksyrium SL SSC's, Ritchey WCS, Keo carbons, Polar CS200 etc. 7400 grams as it sits in the picture.

Picked it up a couple of weeks ago from the LBS and I absolutely love it! Yeah I know the dork disc has to go, but I haven't taken the time to remove it yet.

My 2006 Felt F-55

This picture taken before my Adamo racing saddle and Garmin GPS.

Recently I purchased the Yellow/White Giro Ionos helmet that perfectly matches the bike colours. This bike turned out to be a really good one, lot's of bike for the money.

I still need to take a picture of my own bike, but here is the catalog photo of mine. A 2006 OCR C3. Loving it.

Only mods: a Astrale 8 computer and a Specialized saddle, in a matching silver.

Love the bike. Especially after 15 years of riding a 1988 Centurion Ironman Expert.
Here is the Madone 4.5
