Dream bike?
Just curious about everyone's dream bike 
it can be an existing bike, a bike that hasn't even been made yet, or whatever. Also how much would your dream bike be worth to you? Would you take it instead of a car? (if it could never be stolen). NOTE* This is not real so let's say you are out of money, then please don't say you would keep it so you would pay for mortgages or something XD.

Saw this aero bike on the other forum and thought if this was a religious cult I'd be shouting "hallelujah I believe!"
In the future I believe they'll make super light and strong wheels with disk brakes so you won't have to worry about heat on the carbon rims. Also they'll have fat tires that are lighter than any tires we have now. In my dreams the frames and wheels have no manufacturing decals. Aliens land and give everyone bikes like this.

I have my dream bike. A 2015 Charge Plug (last year for steel frame) outfitted for commuting. I can't imagine finding anything more comfortable or that handles better for how I ride; and I compared a ton of bikes. I bought it new for the "pinch me I must be dreaming" price of only $550.

My dream bike is a 2017 Specialized Roubaix SL4 Comp Di2.
It's on layaway at my LBS. It's a dream bike cause it is waiting on my bonus to be paid out. That bonus isn't supposed to be a dream, but damn, it's starting to feel like it...LOL
I haven't ridden in years and want to get back into it. Bikes of this caliber weren't available eons ago when I last bought a bike and back then, it would have been a dream to get one.
If I were to dream... a 2018 S-Works Roubaix McLaren Dura-Ace Di2

Can we have a "dream" bike? Certainly we'd always see something else we want. Maybe that is it, my dream bike would morph to suit my changing whims.

Currently, probably a Pinarello Dogma F10 or a Storck Aerfast frameset, with latest Shimano Dura Ace groupset and some sweet wheels (Enve SES 4.5 or maybe that funky-looking Zipp 454 or 858 NSW wheelset).

January of 2015, I have a 2001 Civic with 240,000 miles, so I needed a car... but I bought this:
Trek Emonda SLR, Sram eTap and Zipp 303. An absolutely awesome bike.
Mark of 2016, my Civic blew the head gasket for the 2nd time at 262,000 so I bought a new Subaru Impreza.
The bike has 14,000 miles, everyone of them put a smile on my face.

Its what I am going to built this winter.
- Mix of Reynolds 631 and 853 OS tubing, lugged.
- fitted to my geometry(current pic is based on a mix of 2 of my bike's geometries).
- Able to clear 30mm tire(Conti GP 28 which will measure 30mm).
- The colors and where the fade is currently placed could change. Not sure if I want a White lower half and Orange upper half or a White front and Orange rear, as well as where the fade should take place on the frame.
- Mix of 105 and Ultegra shifting, Praxis Zayante crank, and Easton or Zipp cockpit. Wheels will be H+Son Archetype 32h laced to Ultegra hubs.
- Havent decided on a steel fork or if Ill use a Whiskey carbon road fork. I may do both and get them painted so I have options in the future.

Probably a classic French randonneur bike (don't really care if it is new or vintage, so long as it is classically styled and lugged if new) made of a high-end tubeset, full fenders/lights/racks, but with a more-modern drivertain. I'll stick with bar-end shifters and caliper brakes with non-aero levers.

Dreams are made for living.
This one is pretty dreamy, full SLX w/ Campy + drillium. As are the others being kept active.
Dreamy is really mostly about supple tubulars for me, so that's easy as well. Lots of fulfilled dreams keep me smiling.

For me it would be a ti Opera with full 10sp campy. I have the go-ahead from the boss if I find one for under $2000 in a 57 or 58.

I'd love to have a ridiculously nice vintage road frame, build it up with single speed or IGH and all gleaming parts, tune it to perfection, and ride the hell out of it in all weather. Meanwhile, I've done the next best thing with much more modest frames and parts, and honestly given my level of conditioning and skill, I probably wouldn't notice the difference in a blind test.
On the other hand if it were an intact roadie like shown above, I wouldn't butcher it, but would ride it as-is.
