Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Seriously…I have not been. I think I was considering it for lunch but ended up at Vernick Fish. Jeffrey Lurie and wife were there.

Went for a ride in my pod to pick up some work. Got home and found Strava had stopped recording after a couple of minutes. Damn iBrick (I don't have a fancy GPS cyclometer). Oh well it was a nice forty minutes or so of good solid exercise.

No mountain, it was his home street masquerading as a steep hill.

Internet sleuthing reveals he lived at the very end of Long Vista Lane. Right on top of the hill.

There was only 50-60% of the pre-COVID band back tonight. Sad.

But the trumpets carried the band, like usual.

Those go in your jersey pockets, repair stands go in your seat bag. Get with it.
