In full disclosure, it's a 225mm stem and I have part of a wine cork stuck in from the underside, which may be taking some space. I will double check though.

Hmm. I knew the Technomic came in a 225mm but was not aware the angled stem was available in that height.

I think it been said- that looks like an awkward reach for the brake levers.

The VO postinos work pretty well with regular levers.

Test ride - ordered a new cassette to fix a shifting problem

^^^^^ Oh that brings me back. I lived near Hines Dr off Wayne Rd. 45-ish years ago. My dad always wanted to start the Hines Drive Coast Guard Auxiliary, powered by floating VW Beetles with props on a shaft off the crankshaft.

I brake from the hoods so it's ok but yeah, they are awkward if you brake from the drops.

Hmm, braking from the hoods, aren't you reaching almost directly upward with your fingers? And aren't your wrists bent upward? 'Course, that may be comfortable for some.

From the top of the brake hood, I'm reaching forward with my fingers to brake. Where would you move them for me to be more comfortable?

I think your saddle needs to come forward, you have a fairly slack geometry. Not much 1/4" perhaps, It will feel better for the reach. You may want to push the brake levers down on the curve to get a better ergonomic for the lever.
