FS: Frank Peckham MTB frame - fillet brazed
I've got a pretty neat fillet brazed Peckham MTB frame I'd like to move on to another home. I paid way too much for it because I had to have this made in NY frame. By the time I got around to building it, I measured the top tube and it's just too short for my needs...project stopped. I had been blinded by the neat features most likely. C'est la vie. Time to cut my losses.
So, a bit about Frank: Frank Peckham
This seems to be frame #112 of his.
Seat tube: 17.5" C-C
Seat tube: 21.5" C-T
Top tube: 21.5" C-C
1" head tube, 135 rear spacing
The good: True Temper OX3 tubing, Ritchey drops. 1" headtube. Fillet brazed construction with really neat gussets under the top and down tube. Brass headbadge.
The not so good: It has some cosmetic issues. The paint is kinda rough, but I don't think the quality of the job was great to begin with. The cable guide on the bottom bracket needs some TLC, and it appears that the bottom of the head tube is slightly flared (improper headset installation in a previous life?). I don't remember anything particularly alarming about the installation of this headset; all went normally. You can have the HS as a freebe if you want, I am not attached to it.
$250 shipped via bike flights.

Pms responded to, but still here.
Someone NEEDS this frame!!! There are only 196 other Peckham frames out in the world, and he passed away a few years back.
Think about it
