For mid-range and high end prices, I recommend you look at the Bike Friday website. They have excellent folding bikes, but are not at the entry level. Their website will show you the wide variety of different style folding bikes that they produce.

There is a folding bike sub-forum where you will likely get a better response to your question but I think folding bikes aren't much different than other bikes in that you can get one for a couple hundred dollars or spend several thousand.
