Call me a cynic, but I wonder if the OP is the seller trying to drum up some views... the listing can't even be found by navigating or searching the listings in Rockford, so how would one come across it unless they listed it? Weird.

Isn't the dream model normally an aluminum frame? If so: aluminum frame with carbon stays, non stock fork and 9s DA? I'd say $700 max.

Throw the stick!!!!
Dream frames sell for close to that, I would have to say your amount is a bit low.

Ok. So they aren't aluminum? I'm willing to concede my point, but I'm also factoring in that the bike is poorly presented: with weird photos, partially assembled, crankset installed incorrectly, etc.

They are aluminum. Some of them have carbon stays, some don't.

That's what I figured. So, looking into it further, I suppose some of the earlier estimates are probably more in line with it's value, say $900-$1000.

I'm always skeptical about "classic" frames that have an aftermarket fork as well. I can see how the switch from a steel fork to a carbon one would lighten it, but why wasn't a carbon Colnago fork used instead? I would assume that a Colnago fork would have been available for purchase.

Someone with only one post to their history wouldn't do that, would they?
