Easy quiz
I met some friends for a 60 mile breakfast ride this morning. There were 7 bikes. 5 Waterfords, 1 Colnago and,of course, 1 Trek.
Tell me the average age of the riders and the average speed of the ride. This should be easy based on the bikes!

IDK but the way these usually go is the guy on the cheapest bike was the fastest and they slowed down from there as bike price went up.

Trick question. Dudes on the Waterfords all used to race on Paramounts and still race Masters.

I'll bet the guy on the Colnago had a hard time keeping up to those other quality bikes

I'm sure the guy on the Trek is the one who was concerned about average speed.

The answer is......... 65 year old average. 17.2 average speed. The guy on the Trek pulled most of the way and is 79 years old.
Take it easy on the Colnago,it's mine.

That's funny because I'm 47yo and yesterday I went on a 40-mile ride and my average was exactly 17.2 mph. I guess this is why I don't go on group rides!
