I bought this Zeus 2000 track crank set around the year 2000 to fit to my track frame with a British BB shell. It came complete with a bottom bracket which featured a titanium spindled axle. I don't know much about the Zeus combination and I don't know what is stamped on the spindle but the actual spindle, from memory, was solid and not drilled out. I also fitted a Zeus seatpost but the pedals are Campagnolo.

123 X 57T
the 57 marking indicates a spindle intended for use with 70mm shells
a marking of 55 indicates a spindle intended for use with a 68mm shell

Hi! Long time no see,
Thanks for the piece of history! Maybe you already know this blog: recordandobicicletaszeus (I can´t post links either) It has a lot of info about Zeus.
I´m having a terrible fight trying to rebuild this Torrot.
To my surprise, the Zeus fixed cup although it is french threaded 35 x 1 mm it is left-handed (it tights to the left) and I've learned it the hard way (after cuting it with a circular saw ) The bottom bracket is 118 x 55GS (Gran Sport)
Furthermore, I have already bought a new Zeus BB, same aspecs 118 x 55C (Criterium) but... A-HA! It doesn't fit, this one are both cups right-handed...

I've "forced" an English-threaded BB-UN72 bottom bracket into a 1979 Peugeot's Swiss-threaded frame, but it took considerable back-and-forth action with a long wrench to work it in fully (the cups being aluminum, no alteration to the frame's BB actually occurred).
I don't think that it would have worked using a bottom bracket having only holes for a pin tool instead of robust splines like the Shimano BB.
