Sunrise, from the sculpture.
It's not named David is it?
(As in long time late night show host)

Pardon the pun.

Seriously those are some of the coolest photos I've seen on this forum.
Well done!

THANKS
The title of the piece is "SpillOver II"
You can`t see it in those pics, but the letters don`t stop at the bottom. They continue to "SpillOver" onto the base the sculpture sits on..
When I was taking the pics they looked good in the camera, but that doesn`t mean they`re coming out good.
I was happy the way they turned out.

A heron in Amsterdam today. They seem to be becoming just as cheeky as the pigeons.

Nothing like rubbing it in.......But I agree, you should have stood there, hand on the frame, until you decided one way or the other. This is one when the saying there will be another may not be true.......next time you will know when to pull the trigger.
Best, Ben
BTW, after posting this other member will post pictures of ones that they want to sell you......If that happens, this time BUY IT!

Roadsnakes,
WOW!
Nice lighting and composition.....I am glad you resisted placing your bike in the center of the image and still better yet, no bike in the frame at all!
Best, Ben

Well, I'll add to thread.

Not exactly an every day pic as I don't strip paint off a bike that often but we need to get this good thread going again.

Today I finished stripping the rough white paint off this 1987 Schwinn LeTour using citrus stripper from Home Depot.

My son, who was born not too long after I joined this group is now almost 15, 6’3” size 14 shoe, and rides with me on bikes the same size I ride. Ie, my bikes :/. Last weekend we did a ride and after he broke a water bottle cage shoving a much too large bottle in there he decided to put the bottle in his backpack which he then wore like this for about 50 miles. He did that so he could get to it while riding.

the weird look is because he was chewing. When he realized that our bike rides are as much about eating as they are about riding he became much more interested.
