Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The cervelo has always had really bad break rub when out of the saddle. Whyfi was able to fix his with after market something.
It's brake rub. Put a sheet or large piece of white osper under the wheel and sight through the gaps or lack of gap between pad and rotor. Adjust accordingly. The white background makes a huge difference.

I have a crown on a front tooth which was broken when I was 13 and riding my bike home from Maclay Jr High, (you might know where that is). I took a turn too fast when there was water and sand on the road.

My 4 front teeth had been crowned/veneered before, as a result of a road bike incident (wet crosswalk paint) over 20 years ago. One of the middle 2 had gotten chipped 10+ years ago, and I just lived with it. This is an uncomfortable and expensive way to repair the chip and get a new matching set.

Oof. Bummer. Thank goodness for modern dentistry...Without it, I'd have so few teeth left that I'd be legally required to move into a trailer park.

Word has it the NYTimes has bought Wordle. They're probably going to want to make it harder.

Wife has a procedure set for tomorrow, the whole family has been at the house most of the day. She is taking it a little better than I thought she would but she is devastated.

I can’t sit still. Once she was surrounded by family I went to the garage to work out some frustration. I decided to tear the c2 apart and put it back together. I didn’t take every single piece off but the wheels, forks, bars, pedals, handle bars, stem all came off. Gave the frame, fork, wheels and chain a deep scrub. Cleaned the head tube out really well and re packed with grease. Put the ritchey stem back on to increase its reach, Torqued everything to spec. Head set play was gone. But attached is a picture of my top head set bearings. There is some markings on the side of it. Bike rode like new. All the noises it was making are gone. Brake rub is still there but I didn’t really attempt to tackle that. Heart wasn’t into it.
