I for one am a bit skeptical on the benefits of CBD oil, because since it became legal to market it in a lot of places, it's now being touted as a magical cure-all for just about anything. I'm not denying that it may have certain effects, but anyone with a CBD oil company (some products which may not even actually contain CBD) is making all sorts of claims about their magical oil. It's almost as bad as the women in MLM's selling essential oils.
I'll always believe that a bit of skepticism is a good thing. But when you're in pain all the time like I am, you also learn to keep an open mind, and not to totally dismiss something before you've tried it.

I have a pharmacy of pills in my closet that my doctor swore would relieve me of my ills but none of them work. As tempted aa I was to just throw in the towel and give up altogether, it wasn't until this last prescription that something finally gave me some measure of relief from my chronic pain.

The only hesitation that I have on CBD is that so far no manufacture has listed type of pain (see aspirin bottle) it is capable of giving relief to. I know its an anti-inflammatory, so muscular joint pain is pretty common, but does it work on nerve pain? That's the one that keeps me up at night. Its like being stabbed by a dozen ice picks from the inside.

Yup, it may help with that neurological pain too. I get that from old injuries that have healed, but still have lingering pain.

BTW, if the lingering neuro pain from old injuries is reasonably close to skin surface level, try Ted's Pain Cream. Read the tech info about it on the website for Ted's Brain Science. It seems to be helping my chronic neck and shoulder pain. I use it on the vibrating tips of a long-handled percussion massager, since I can't reach my shoulder blades any other way.

For me, CBD minimizes pain up to 6 on the scale of 10. It can help make more severe pain a bit more tolerable, but it's not as powerful as oxycontin or hydocodone -- maybe closer to tramadol, the mildest and safest prescription pain med.

For more severe pain, around 6-9, I still use kratom. The red vein type is most effective. I've written enough about it before so I won't repeat all the details. It should be used cautiously. But it can be remarkably effective for my occasional severe pain. I still have prescriptions for hydrocodone and cyclobenzaprine, but I prefer CBD or kratom. I only need to reduce the pain enough to sleep, or to be more comfortable exercising or riding my bike. I save the prescription pain meds for the worst days, so I only request refills once or twice a year.

Yes.

That is why I specifically said it wasn't a placebo effect, which I base on the notion that I completely absolutely 100% believe it was phooey nonsense. But it made a difference. A real difference that I could feel. It's hard to be psychologically tricked into believing something works when you are a complete skeptic going in.

Role of CBD Oil

There is no doubt that people want to be as healthy as possible. After all, who wouldn’t want to find an effective way to prevent disease if at all possible? When it comes to things like cardiovascular health, one of the most commonly prescribed over-the-counter medications is baby aspirin.

Of course, CBD is not a magic cure for all diseases, but it can act on you as a sedative or even painkiller. And unlike strong painkillers, it does not cause side effects and addiction. Well, its most popular use is to relieve anxiety, suspiciousness, and nervous tension. CBD oil and other cannabidiol products interact with the human nervous system, smoothing out negative mental states. This positively affects the overall quality of life and the ability to communicate with other people. I recommend starting with some herbs and concentrates at online-dispensary.co.

Since it crawled it way back to the surface........I got some free samples of the Floyd Landis stuff. Any benefits real or perceived are totally negated by the horrible taste.

You could do what people do with pills for children and pets - put it in some food you love so that it spoils that food for you AND you don't take it anyway.

Federal law prohibits its possession and distribution, and federal law trumps state law.

So if you are going to post a legal warning, you might as well make that tidbit clear, too.
