Pic request: Vintage or retro wheels with red rims

I want to see your vintage or vintage style road bike with red rims, please!

The classic, shallow rim style with anodized red finish. Send your pics please - you will help me finish my build!

Like these? Ambrosio Montreals, I had them laced, Crow's Foot pattern, to some bronze finish shimano STX hubs, not exactly C&V but I want to get away from FWs.

Cool, Ambrosios are exactly what I have as well! Now I just have to figure out what tire style fits my build best. Thank you so much for your input!

Now let´s see some more rim/tire combinations please

If your going pre '93ish classic style you really need a tan skin wall with very little graphics. Most tubulars back then only have a small label maybe 1/2" by 2-3". Even the label on these Rallys would have been big back then.

Centurion Comp TA, Mavic rims laced to Shimano hubs. This was during the build.
Bike now belongs to a certain former UNC tailback. Imagine a 6'1 245lb drafting partner.

Is the "former UNC tailback" still at 245lbs now that he is a former?

I don't have a photo of my 2000 Marin treviso when I got it, which was mostly original, but it has red Ambrosio Excellence Rims, wish I could find replacements. Currently, I am still running the front rim, but replaced the rear with a silver open pro.. that was a sad day, but the braking surface was just too worn.

I used those wheels on my Univega for a little while, now they are on the girlfriend's Marinoni till I can get here wheels rebuild and get them back for my mairag.

Last I heard, he was doing some racing in SC. I imagine no one crowds him in crits...

My De Rosa built up in its early 90s glory. Mavic Helium shimano 8speed wheelset.

These wheels are a little heavy, but bomb proof. I used to ride them on gravel roads fairly regularly and never had an issue. The red was too much for me. I replaced them with campy chorus hubs + mach III gray anodized tubular.

This fits. 80 something Ciocc with Mavic Helium wheels. I'm excited that JJ above confirmed what I have heard elsewhere that these wheels are tough. I'm planning on testing that with this. I just finished this today as a project gone a little bit sideways.
