Bought to get into it again!

Hi. I grew up mtn biking but I have been a roadie for a few years now.

I found this Trek Cobia. I plan to race it and get back into the scene.

https://tucson.craigslist.org/bik/4046997444.html

Is this a good deal? And more importantly. It is a 19 inch bike. I ride a 56 cm (top tube) road bike. Now, of course I will ride it but it is hard to get a feel for a bike during a 15 minute spin. Any opinions on the fit? I have regular-ish dimensions.

Cheers.

Looks like a pretty good deal to me. Fit comes down to fit . You just have to ride it and see. I'm 5'10" and fall into the L or M category depending on the bike. My 29er is a 17.5" and my 26er is a 19.5" both of which seem right to me.

600 is a fair price for a stock Cobia. You get a few hundred dollars worth of Tubeless upgrade on top of it. You did good, assuming it fits.

Fit sounds right to me. Enjoy it. There is a RACERS thread a few more links down on the FORUM page. You might check in with the others who are racing.

Picked it up tonight. 19 inch feels good at least for a quick spin.
