Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I havent tried this but figured some red loctite would help me. hasnt come loose in a long time.

If you use Loctite RED, you will never again be able to remove it to service the bearings. A better choice would be Loctite BLUE.

26tpi, surely.

Phil Wood still offers mounting rings in 1.370" x 26tpi thread, which will wrk with Phil's bottom bracket, as well as some other brands, e.g. SunTour, Edco, etc.
