why is that strange? I got asked for a quarter for a parking meter while I was walking the other day...OMG what were they thinking?!?!?!?

She should have asked me, I always throw my extra change in one of my pannier pockets, and when I happen to decide to exchange it for paper bills it's usually ranges between 7 to 10 dollars worth.

Everyone knows you shouldn't give change to strangers. Haven't you seen that south park episode? Joking of course, I'm always happy to give some spare change to someone if they ask nicely(not while I'm riding my bike though, wtf...). Now the delusional old man who yells insults at me, he gets no change, ever.
