Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Lol. And this is the perfect example of why I'm not that bad. I'll just show whatever girl I'm is telling me, I am the worst when it comes to caring about other people's bicycles, this post and put a little perspective in their lives. Thanks rk.

That is true for most of us here on the hot or not thread which is pretty evident by fashion over function. We all just hang em on our walls.

Perfect!
I may have found a great use for the Hot r Not thread!

This means that all the design & engineering on the Cobl Gobl-R must have been focused on priorities such as reliability, function & comfort over aesthetics.
Sounds like an addition to my bike that will add to the function & comfort of my rides.

Please tell me that shot was taken in a bike shop and that you don't keep your shoes, helmets, and saddles on display like that?

The shot was taken in a bike shop yesterday (Strada Cycles in Vancouver). I keep my helmet and shoes in the back of my SUV...it stinks!

Sunset shots of my new neilpryde bura sl. Ended up at 11.29 lbs as is (w/ garmin head unit and speed/cadence sensor on there). It's much easier to get there w/ 768g frame. First ride today- wow.

Frame/fork/seat collar- NP bura sl (size small)

wheels- edge/enve 1.45, extralite hubs, cx-ray spokes, front conti comp/ rear vittoria evo (both 22 or 23mm)
bars- ritchey superlogic II (carbon) 40mm

stem- extralite OC 100mm

headset- NP, extralite ultrastar, extralite top cap and bolt, omniracer alloy spacers

shifters- sram red w/ btp clamps (stock hoods will be switched out for either homemade heatshrink or alternative experiment.
cables/housing- derailleur: alligator mini i-link cable/housing, brakes: i-link housing, front power cord, rear is currently alligator cable will be switched out for powercord.

FD- campy chorus tuned to 57g
RD- sram red tuned to 134g
cassette-sram red 11/26

crankset- lightning sl 172.5 w/ extralite 50/34 rings & kcnc bolts

scott chain catcher (had it sitting around and figured what the heck)

chain- kmc x10sl

skewers- m2racer bolt on

bar tape- I can't remember but it's lighter than deda

bar plugs- I think they were from fsa cranks, cut down to lighten and fit

seatpost- mcfk 27.2 setback

saddle- ax lightness endurance (3 yrs old, finally something from ax that doesn't fail)

brakes - kcnc cb1 w/ enve pads

pedals - exustar 200 ti

bottle cages- bikewagon generics, not quite arundel mandible clones

got it. the vinyl is actually very thin (it was left over from a project on my car). Also even up close, it looks just a plain CF wheel, complete with the variance in reflection from different angles- I was surprised. It just sucks I assumed the decals were removable, but its under the clearcoat.

Tell you what- you send me that $600 you offered and I'll think about it! (won't happen, but I'll think about it). Wait until you see the clinchers I scored on ebay to alternate (extralite hubs, kinlin 270's and in the 1200's).
