My 1979 Raleigh Project

This bike was given to me (yes, as in for free) in great condition, so it only took a quick overhaul and few finishing touches to have it road-ready. It's a 1979 Raleigh Record that I cleaned up for my girlfriend. I added white bar tape and re-ran the cables with chrome housing. Nearly everything else is original. I added 27" Kenda cyclocross tires to make it trail-ready, as she's been itching to have a bike that she can ride the 14 miles by trail to our local winery. I'm thinking the next step will be to throw on a rear rack with a wooden wine box mounted to it to complete the on-the-way-to-the-winery look.

Here are a few pictures. Let me know if I'm doing alright or if I totally missed the mark with this one!
