bb90 sram gxp crank kogel bearing install help

i have a trek madone 7 bb90 shell, i had kogel bearings installed , now im going to put the crank on , it seems to have went on fine , maybe too fine , the bearings came with 3 rings , maybe someone out there has installed one before , it has a blue ring for the non drive side and a black ring i guess is for the drive side , i put those in and tightened it up it spins nice but im left with a thicker silver ring , not sure where to stick it lol , if anyone has installed these cranks and bearings please let me know , im having trouble finding an exact installation video or guide on you tube or the web site ...

If the spare ring is 24mm ID then it's for Shimano cranksets and you won't need to use it.

Oh ok. Seems like its in fine im not sure what torque to put on it i just did really gently by hand for now . should i use the torque spec on the crank ???

The silver ring goes inside the left bearing before you press it in. Here's the instructions from Kogel's dreadful website:

Oh thats odd my crank wouldn't fit through that one at all it fits fine no play spins great . im kind of confused now ..
