Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I would check and it would say out of stock or more on the way and a few minutes later I would check and it would say 2 or 3 or 4 in stock. I think what happens is people would put them in their shopping cart and they would tie them up for a certain amount of time. I know I ordered mine it showed 2 available and a few minutes earlier it showed out. as soon as I put mine in the shopping cart I checked from my other computer and it showed 1 avail. I bought it and looked again and it showed 3 so kind of wonky no doubt. within a few minutes of completing the purchase I got notification my order was confirmed.....while typing this I got an email saying my bike was out for delivery...Fedex must be delivering on Saturdays now...fingers crossed
I am sure everything will go smoothly for you. I am just the type of guy that has this luck. I really wished the Endurace would have worked out for me as I love the bike and it was a much better value than what I ended up with. Post a review after you get some miles on it.

Puts in in mind of Probikekit when they sent me white shoes with no pedals instead of the black shoes with pedals included that I ordered (on sale).

just got in from doing a 47.6 mile ride. loving it so far. only thing I don't love is the seat. I will probably give it a few more rides and if it does not feel better will replace it. it sure feels great otherwise.

Just wanted to update something. Yesterday I read in a post that Canyon had lowered the price of the CF8 $300. Last evening I emailed canyon and said I was really happy with my bike but was disappointed that I missed the sale price and this morning I got notification that they have issued a $300 refund. Pretty good in my book.

Ok this is crazy they refunded me another $100 so I got the ultegra for $100 less than the 105 equipped bike. I checked a bit ago and the cf8 was listed at 2099 so I called and they said yup you have get the money back as they have a 30 day price match.

definitely could be used as a torture device. I gave it about 300 miles and tapped out.

Same situation

They sent me the wrong size and now I see that the size I ordered is out of stock. I am gutted. I don’t know if I should take it to the lbs for a bike fit (which I intended to do anyway) and see if we can make it work or send it back to Canyon. I have no idea what the return/exchange process is like with Canyon. Ugh, so disappointed.
I received Large instead of M.

What did you do after you received wrong size?

Thank you.

The 214 posts above yours should explain the procedure pretty well.

This thread is right up there in the hall of fame with "I set my wheel on fire".

I'm trying to decide if I should order a Neuron 9, which is on sale, and free delivery (although I might prefer to drive there and pick it up). Do you like yours (I realize it is a previous gen.)?

Canyon's Carlsbad showroom is on the way to my old office, so I had considered the same, but Canyon told me that it does not allow order pickup there.

LOL!

Yeah I love the Neuron. Easily the most versatile mtb I’ve owned. It replaced my longer travel 2015 Specialized Enduro Expert. The Neuron frame geometry is actually quite similar to Enduro bikes of that era before they went ultra-long and slack. It’s lighter than my Enduro, with better component spec for the same price and I set all my local trail PRs on it. It excels on tight singletrack and climbs much better than my Enduro did. I easily cleaned a few climbs that were previously my nemesis. It’s pretty good descending too and doesn’t give much away to longer travel rigs. I think it’s a pretty solid all-rounder and hasn’t missed a beat.

Well first of all, don’t return a plant in place of your bike. They don’t accept plant returns.

I am sure you already have but just call their customer service and they will provide a label and refund you for the bike once they get it back. Then you have to place another order for the bike.
