Help from anyone near Branford, CT, please

I found some needed components from Zane's Cycles in Branford, Connecticut.
However, they will not ship to me in California. I can pay them in full, but hoping to find a BF member to retrieve and mail.
Thinking a $20 medium flat rate Priority Mail will do the trick, which I will gladly reimburse.
Thankful if anybody among us can oblige.

No takers, huh? Noticed bike forum peeps residing in Connecticut. With New Haven nearby.
Many years ago, I drove through the area from NY City to Boston by way of Hartford. Visited Mark Twain's house museum, among other sites.
It rained heavily all day. Treacherous driving in a crappy rental car. Made me question, momentarily, not taking the CDW!
Anyhow, I pared-down my order. It would squeeze into one of those tiny Priority Mail boxes to ship for ten bucks.

Can I just ask a question…
You live in California. You found these items online, on a bike shop’s website, and can pay for them electronically. Are you saying that they post stuff online, allow you to purchase it, but they don’t ship?

I don't know what the OP is wanting to buy, but I had a colleague in California that used to need things that the state of California would not allow to be shipped in. He would use my address and I would put them on a stock transfer truck to California from the location I worked at.

Have you looked at Uber Freight?
With Uber Freight, you book your order by providing all of the required information—such as pick-up location, drop-off location, and delivery timing—and you’re given a price quote. If you decide to book the transport, it is assigned to one of Uber’s carriers for pick-up and delivery.

I spoke with the shop staff, who consulted with his boss. He said that their agreement with Shimano prohibits shipping outside their local area.
Sort of an oddball component. Non-hazardous and non-liquid. Just impossible for me to find anywhere.
Just now made me think of a potential solution for them to ship to one of our BF members, who will then re-ship to me.
Please PM me if interested in lending a hand. Thanks, all.

Or a friend or relative in an area they ship to.

Still looking for a BF member for assistance in coastal Connecticut near New Haven.
The bike shop location is in Branford - or a couple miles from New Haven.
Spoke with them today and they will only will-call the component.
Pretty strange, huh? I resorted to begging to no avail.

Not strange at all. It’s quite possible that if the shop were to violate an agreement it has it could be dropped.

I take it they wouldn’t ship to Massachusetts?

What are you wanting from them that this seems to be the only option? There is a good chance someone here may know another source.

A fellow member stepped forward to assist in my time of need.
Thanks, everyone, for ideas and support.
