26 inch fixed
I have an old old road bike im trying to convert to fixed. it's only a 26 but i thought it would be fun. Im having a terrible time trying to find wheelsets for it though, I'm guessing they don't exist. Does anyone know where I can find a set of 26s with the hub already in it, preferably deep v.

While I doubt the rims are actually a 26" and not a 700c, here's this link (although it's set up for a multispeed cassette, so you may one laced to a new rear hub; really just mroe money though):

And heads up, I have heard these guys can be a nightmare to deal with if something goes wrong.

An old road bike with 26" wheels probably actually has 26 3/8" (590mm) rims, not modern 26" MTV or even 571mm 650c. You definitely won't find a new set of fixed gear wheels in that size, and even if you did, it'd be a waste of cash. mtb wheels will fit but the existing brakes won't reach. Best plan would be using the existing freewheel hub and making sure your brakes are good.

use a bolt on cog and a disc hub and then you can have 26 inch fixed like the wheel I used to have on my
These are 26" (559mm) Deep Vs
