I've been debating on how much I want to shoot for. Decided on 15,000 feet. Just signed up on the 100+ mile thread for 350 miles too. So I guess my goal this month is 350 miles of riding with 15k feet of elevation gain.

2244 feet so far...

Almost halfway there, in 2 rides. But over 100 miles so far.
I need more hils and less miles. ( wait... WTF did I just say???)

for those of you who live in vertically challenged areas, you are allowed to shoulder your bike and run up and down stairs, to get your climbing in!

First ride of the month and I had to bail 9 miles into a 25 mile ride due to 50 mile an hour winds and rain. That plus my commute today puts me at 14.5 miles and 1k feet elevation gain mtd.

Better make that 500' for some of the vertically challenged. Indianapolis must be really, really flat.

6/1 - 8mi 500'
6/2 - 12mi 750'
6/3 - 18mi 1200'
6/4 - 24mi 1400'
6/5 - 16mi 700'
6/6 - 24mi 1400'

So that's 5950' in 102mi so far for the month. I hope to get the 24mi 1400' ride done 4 days a week as that is my work commute and then have random weekend rides. If that happens I should finish the month with probably 30k feet or so.

I'm in. I'll shoot for 10,000ft.

58 miles and 1415' so far this month.

Everyone thinks OK and Tulsa is just flat land, but my average 30 mile ride has at least 1000' in climb.

Hey - if you haven't already feel free to join our Clyde club on Strava - https://app.strava.com/clubs/clydesda...bikeforums-net

I've been dragging all week, I think I'll go for a ride around the block today. That should net me enough to hie 5k for the month so far and then I can get serious about getting to 10k.

Dangit! Robbed! I did three laps of my neighborhood, which should be about 650 ft per lap and Strava is only showing 400 per lap. Bah! The uncorrected elevation from my garmin matches strava, but when I click on the corrected button, it should be 1968 feet, which would give me my 5k.

12 miles, 2,000 feet. Not a bad little ride if I do say so myself.

Oh well. I guess I just need to do it again.
