This frame-set was in a pile at the local co-op. It seems like it's at least half way decent, but unfortunately it has a coat of black spray-paint. It's pretty light, aluminum, decent looking drop-outs. Serial number is SNMNG10A00649. This is stamped largely covering the bottom bracket from one side to the other. Any ideas?

It's a Schwinn. I looked up part of the serial number at a stolen bike index. I'm not saying the bike was stolen, just used part of the serial to see what kinds of bikes are listed.

I'm also going to guess it's a 2010 model. The 10 after SNMNG portion of the serial number seems to be the year indicator based on the returned results from the above link.

Weird. Guess it's not half way decent after all. I'm now Shocked at how light this is for a Target bike. Like I said, the drop-outs seem decent too. It even has a removable derailer hanger, which I wouldn't expect to find at Target. I think I'm gonna have to do a little more searching and narrow it down further to a model or something. Anyway, thanks for finding that! I couldn't seem to find it anywhere.
EDIT: The frame looks just like the Schwinn Tourist, except it has a different fork with low-rider mounts and the bottom bracket is of the external type and it has a Cane Creek aheadset. It's weird. I can't imagine someone putting so much effort into upgrading a Schwinn frame, but I'm not sure what else it could be...

Have a similar serial #
Mine starts the same way;
SNMNG12M77584
I got mine off Kijiji in Ottawa, and it was posted as a 2012 GT Slammer. I wonder if GT contracted out for some frames? Let Schwinn build a few for they’re Walmart/Target line-up maybe...? I had problems too looking this number up. I’ll put “Schwinn” in the search now and see what hits I get from that. If anything, I’ll keep y’all posted
