Nice bike! I have a bike that are 45 years old, others that are 37, 38, and 39 years old, and one of those has over 150,000 miles on it, and all of them ride like new! Just telling you this because if you keep your bike maintained it should ride like new for a lot longer than 10 years, assuming no destructive accidents of course.

Do you need Zeus parts? they can still be found. but the company went out of business years ago sometime in the early 90s, they were the last company that made everything, the frame, fork, and all the components, even the saddles and frame pumps, they actually made everything, not like Schwinn for example that used Shimano parts and had Schwinn stamped on it. They did copy Campy designs though, but they did personalize the designs, but while a lot of companies back then copied Campy, Zues was the highest quality copy though, later on they started to use titanium in the Campy copies something that Campy didn't do but it didn't catch on for some reason. Their demise had a lot do with Japanese components, especially Suntour were simply a lot better than Campy at the time, all those companies that copied Campy are gone due to the Japanese brands, only Campy remains. So while it may seem sad Zues is gone, all they really did was make Campy knockoffs, so once you know that it's not a big deal that they're gone, not nearly as big of a deal as Suntour being gone. Suntour should have remained and Shimano should have disappeared in my opinion, but Shimano was a huge industrial giant that just far overshadowed and out marketed Suntour even though it was Suntour that had the better R&D department.

1975 Colnago. My uncle knew that I was into bikes, and that I had a Colnago, so he bought one. I rode my 1971 into the ground, but he kept his in perfect condition. Recently he told me that since he was 91 years old and lived on a dirt road, the only bike he ever rode was his Ritchey mountain bike.

He gave me the Colnago with the promise that I wouldn't sell it, and of course I won't. I restored it, except for clincher tires that cost more than silk tires did in the '70s.

I’m thinking my oldest bike just became a Specialized Hardrock garage sale find. Hard tail and rigid fork. It’s at least 20 years old as the dealer decal is from a LBS that closed ~ 20 years ago. I'm just getting started on researching the bike to see if I can determine a manufacture date. Otherwise the Cannondale PD will remain my oldest. Photos of the Hardrock maybe later when I have a few minutes to get back to the thread.
