I was going to respond, but after reading stuff like, "it's their money, they can spend it anyway they want", such a statement had nothing to do with the question, I decided not to waste my time just to get some smart ass response. Time is money, so I wasted my time with this biking question, not that the question was bad, it was some of the responses that were.
So you were going to make some smart ass comment about how other people are wasting their money, but feared the smart ass response? There's about 100% chance that someone is using whatever it was that you were going to identify as a waste, do you seriously not expect people to argue with you?
The question was bad. The responses actually have been pretty good because most of the people are ignoring the original question.
