My current one is a 1st gen Topeak Alien. I'm looking for something more updated. Most of the ones on the market today seem to have the same collection of allen keys and crescent sizes so my biggest discriminator would be that the chain-breaker has to work with 11-speed links and that the spoke wrench can handle Mavic M7 nipples. I'm also looking for something smaller than the Alien and preferably folds into a form-factour without sharp or protruding edges. I will be storing the minitool in the same small saddle pack as a spare tube and don't want it punching a hole in the tube.

Any suggestions?

Crank bros M17? Don't know if it does Mavic Spokes, but I used it to install an 11 Speed chain. It has a rubber band around it that smooths off any rough edges.

I ride with a Topeak hexus, I keep one for each of my rides. I keep Park spoke wrenches in my tool box at home. If I have to adjust spokes on a ride, I'd replace that wheelset, not buy a new tool. When working at home, I want the real deal, a dedicated tool not a multi-tool. I also use a Park chain tool to replace pins, stopped using the Topeak years ago.

I already have high quality dedicated tools for home wrenching. I carry a couple of spare spikes in my seatpost in case I break/bend one which has happened before. I just need a tool to get the new one in place and reasonably tensioned in order to get me home. Same with the chain breaker. I carry spare powerlinks but if I need to remove a broken link while in the road, I'll need a tool for that.
