A "new" International!

Raleigh International Bicycle 21 5 in Reynolds 531 Campy Mint in Original Box | eBay

I think that I'd find a better set of pedals to accompany the sale though.

That Super Sport is worth it just for the group set. Buy it, sell the frame and keep the rest. I would if it were closer or if I could ship it cheaply enough.

Actually, if it were around here, it would be gone 5 minutes after being posted on CL...

Vintage tandem fans. Upcoming live auction at Cowen's in OH. Royal Enfield re-paint, sort of cobbled in accessories, needs correcting but overall neat. Expect a 20-25% buyers premium on final.

I emailed the seller, and he said it's still available, as of 9/2/2014 at 8:40pm. I may call his number and inquire, but I can't be certain I can afford it. The frame is too large for me, so I would need to find someone who has a smaller frame in similar condition. Any thoughts? I would need a 22", and this one is a 25".

Buy the bike for $200, sell the frame here or on CL or eBay for $100 and you get that nice group set including wheels for $100. Which is a deal.

Then buy yourself a frame in your size. As long as it's got an English BB, everything will swap over.

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

main street at mitchell
(google map) (yahoo map)

condition: excellent size / dimensions: 55 cm

1987 Bertoni nuovitalia 12 speed made in Italy. The bike is equipped with Shimano 600 front/rear derailleurs and shifters. The Crank is Bertoni branded (Likely an italian ofmega crankset since the dustcaps are ofmega stamped). The frame tubing is Columbus Matrix, making for a lightweight frame. Columbus Dropouts as well. 3ttt stem. Brakes levers and calipers are Universal. The bicycle is equipped with 700c Mavic MA2 rims. This is a 55cm bike. The step over on the center bar is 33". Spent over $200 on new tires and full tune up.

Bike is in excellent condition. $325.

CANNONDALE SHIMANO 600
[h=2]CANNONDALE SHIMANO 600 - $250 (cambridge)[/h]

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

condition: excellent size / dimensions: 25 inches

I'm selling my CANNONDALE SHIMANO 600 road/racing bike Because I have just gotten a new bike. This bike has been kept inside when it is not being used and is in great condition. No rust or anything. It is navy blue and 25 inches. I'm 6'2 and it fits perfectly. The only fix is the front brakes are lose. I'm asking for 250 but will take entertain all offers. I can also meet anywhere.

I don't know - even 450 will get you a lot more bike in the bay area. I haven't ridden a Paramount (I owned a Tempo and a Prelude that I did love to ride) but, man that's a lot of build left for that price.

EDIT: I take that back - not too much left to do and not a horrible price considering what people are asking for them.

Do you own any Motobecanes? How do they fit? I've got my eye on a similar one on ebay and I'm never sure about people's measurements.

Bianchigirl - I recommend pulling up yelp and making a few calls to bike shops. When I've done that in the past they're more than happy to charge me for packing and shipping and let me pay via CC over the phone or PayPal.

I'll have to keep that in mind but if the seller doesn't take paypal it might be a no go anyway. Besides this will have to go on the back burner for a bit, I spent all my money on car maintenance and escort gear today.

I'd buy it just for the pretty in pink paint job. Classic late 80's! I missed a beautiful mid 80's Centurion Iron Man Master 49cm bike in pink/white head tube with matching pink water bottle cages in better shape than that one all because "it didn't fit" anyone in the family... yet. Someone should definitely buy that.

It's a b!tch trying to buy things off of CL from a distance. Even when I had contacts in a Houston, coincidentally, few people were willing to deliver and even those with paypal were not thrilled about such a deal. I tried multiple times to no avail. Finally some BF members offered to sell me a bike while I was there.

55 cm 1987 Nishiki Altron - Mondrian inspired top bar. Checked out this bike the other day and it's mint but too large for me (I'm already pushing it at 54cm on some frames). Still considering buying it but it would just sit around as I would never ride it. I need more ride now bikes now hang on the wall bikes. (I didn't take any photos stupidly - so here's a stock from another user's post to gander at).
