Gravity FSX: Need a fix for loosening Quick Release Skewers
My FSX bike quick release skewers are loosening up when riding.
What is the fix for this?
Switch to thru axles or is there some type of system to keep the quick skewers from loosening.
Also which side loosens?
Is it both sides, lever side, or the nut side?
Thanks

Read up on the difference between internal cam and external cam skewers. If you have the external cam type, replace them with internal cam, like Shimano. They probably aren't actually loosening, just aren't gripping well from the start.

The internal-cam type is doubtless better than the external cam type, but either kind will fail if not tightened properly.
I have bikes with both types and have never had one loosen unexpectedly.

The fix for this is to learn how to properly install a quick release wheel. Quick releases, if installed correctly, do not loosen. You cannot convert a bike with quick releases to through axle
